This Privacy Policy describes how Kinla Foods ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our mobile application. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
A. Information We Collect
- Personal Information: We collect your name, phone number, and email address via Google Account login to facilitate profile creation and secure authentication.
- Location Data: We request access to your precise location. This is used specifically when you have not saved a manual address to calculate distances to restaurants and determine accurate delivery fees for riders. You may also manually select a location via our map picker.
- Media Files: We access your device's image picker only when you choose to upload a profile picture. These images are stored securely in our Firebase storage.
- Communication Data: We facilitate voice calls between customers and riders using Cloudflare TURN and WebRTC. We do not display your actual phone number to other users; all communication is handled through our secure internal relay to maintain user privacy.
B. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain our food ordering and delivery service.
- To calculate real-time delivery logistics and fees.
- To enable secure, private communication between you and your delivery rider.
- To provide customer support and handle reports or disputes.
- To monitor for fraudulent activity and ensure platform safety.
C. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We respect your privacy. We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following ways:
- With Restaurants: Your name and order details.
- With Riders: Your name, delivery address, and precise coordinates for the duration of the delivery.
- Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google) for infrastructure and Cloudflare for communication relay.
D. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time via the Settings menu within the app or by contacting our support team.
